sproutsAFTER FINISHING my latest walks booklet, I've started on a new sketchbook - in fact a couple of new sketchbooks, pocket-sized and A4 - so I'm hoping to get back to more drawing from nature.

Even going down the garden to draw Brussels sprouts (left) seems a bit of an adventure after so much time sitting in my studio during January!

song thrushThe snow has been back but in between the birds have been busy carving up our back garden into territories. We've seen 4 robins in the garden often chasing each other around, while the song thrush marks it's territory with a varied song that I feel adds an exotic touch to a dreary February afternoon.
