January: I finish revising the last of my Village Walks in West Yorkshire for Countryside Books. From now on all I want to do is draw!!

March: Well wrapped up, I sketch the old buildings of Normanton for my Sushi Sketchbook inspired by this Victorian town.

April: before I get The Normanton Chronicles written Barbara and I walk the Dales Way. That's a second Sushi that needs writing.

May: drawing a medieval church and a beach in Norfolk for Saints and Serpents. That's a third Sushi to write . . .

June: Drawing with my journalling pal Danny Gregory from New York. We're filmed sketching at Dewsbury market for YTV's My Yorkshire.

July: I've still got three Sushi Sketchbooks drawn but not written.

August: the printer is repaired, nothing can stop me getting these Sushis into print . . .

September: Oh yes it can! I decide to decorate the stairs. And improve my French as I do it.

October: today I've finished writing the third of those Sushis. What a relief not to have all that writing hanging over me!

What shall I do next? I feel like getting out drawing. For my next Sushi;Four Corners of Horbury. Next Page
