rowan leaves

Grey days have alternated with sunny days this week. The feathery foliage of our rowan is shaken in the breeze against this evening's grey sky.

I feel as if I'm losing touch with nature: hitting technical problems I'm frustrated in my efforts to get my latest Sushi sketchbook into print. As we wait in for the engineer to check over my printer we don't even get out on a walk.

Perhaps we will soon.

Normanton ChroniclesReturn to Willow Island

I've been updating my Willow Island Editions site. This is supposedly my commercial website but it had got neglected because whenever I've had time to work on the web I've always preferred to add a page to this diary. Now that I've launched the Sushi sketchbooks I could no longer avoid sorting things out. I've kept things very simple and put the emphasis on my publications: for the moment I've dropped the 'gallery' side of the site; in real life I no longer produce work for exhibitions and I want the site to reflect the work I'm doing today, not to be a retrospective of stuff that I did years ago.
