A Breeze in Batley

tree

Wednesday, 25th April, 2007
24°C, cumulus heading north, but the breeze at ground level appears to be coming from the opposite direction – I think this is just turblulence in this corner behind the Yorkshire Mill, Batley, because the trees on the embankment, some of which are still without their leaves, are swaying as if blown from the south.

DanishThe cast iron pillar is a feature of this old textile mill. The Danish Pastry was to have been in watercolour but I couldn’t resist eating it before I got to that stage.
