Peeps at Nature

Richard Bell’s Wild West Yorkshire nature diary, Friday, 14th March, 2008

first pageToday, something a bit different; a little spring book, inspired by an old natural history title. The format is from a series called 'Peeps at Nature', dating from the Edwardian summers immediately before World War I but some titles in the series were still in print at the end of World War II. The publishers were by Adam & Charles Black who, during those three decades, kept the same address at 4 Soho Square, London.
