Buzzards

Richard Bell's Wild West Yorkshire nature diary, Tuesday 7 September 2010

buzzardscloud11.45 a.m.: We're trying out the terrace at the new Seasons cafe at Armitage's garden centre. We've just sat down with our coffees when two buzzards fly towards us then circle each other in what appears to be an aerial dogfight, however this doesn't turn into anything serious and they circle off over the valley above Shepley, but I feel that one is keeping its height advantage over the other. As they disappear towards the north-west they're still keeping together.
