swansparrowsFrost on the lawn: it's a sunny morning but fog lurks beyond the viaduct, as if it has been poured into the valley.

Two swans on the canal look peaceful in stark contrast to two sparrows on the patio who are wrestling each other in a dispute about birdseed.

There's plenty for everyone!

Telephoto Opportunity

Richard, Evening Post photographJames, the Evening Post photographer calls in the afternoon and I'm surprised at the length of telephoto lens he uses for my picture (and pleased - I know from experience what I look like in extreme close-up with a wide angle lens!).
