I’VE MISSED the ponies in the meadow beyond our garden. It’s good to look up from my work from time to time, to see them, invariably together grazing or grooming each other.

 

After a lot of preparation by their owners, repairing fences, building a stable and bringing in a large quantity of hay in a couple of loads of those big black plastic bag bails, the ponies were brought back today. With the three that I’ve seen before there’s a smaller black pony.
