rabbit animation THIS PEN AND INK and crayon animation includes 12 drawings, some of which I repeated in the animation loop in an attempt to make the rabbit look a if it stopped and blinked a couple of times. I like working in colour, but 12 frames, even as small as these, take up much more memory than the equivalent animation would in black and white, in this case 153 KB.

The blink hasn't come out as I'd hoped, but the twitching nose, which has appeared more or less accidently, works well.

I sketched the sequence one evening after a walk, during which we surprised a young rabbit which came hopping around a corner of the woodland path. It dived for the brambles when it saw us.
